I guess my favorite thing is the art and literature.
I would have to agree also, the art and literature from this period was just extraordinary!
Yeah the art is really beautiful
yea i liked the art but not the literature
The literature is rather compelling to some readers but i digress, most written work is in the European perspective and always speaks of the horrors of the plague and the persecution of jews. 'How amusing to the modern reader.' Gimme a break!
Indeed Picard…
Only you, Ayanna. Only you…

Who is Picard, anyway?
He's the Captain in Star Trek The Next Generation!
The captain of what? The Enterprise? And what is the Next Generation?

The rising empires
It is very interesting how it changes in time and in different civilizations.
My favorite thing about the Post-Classical Period would have to be the rebirth of Literature and the arts. I also like the fashion.
Art, Art, Art, Art, Art, and literature more happened in this era like the Crusades, the Muslim Empire, The Plague (my FAVORITE subject), and not to mention the Catholic reformation or am I over stepping an era on that? Who cares just people i know the art was spectacular just touch on something else. I commend the people who were different. Thank You!
I like how it leads up to the modern period by setting the foundations of whats going to happen in the future.
Ummmm…..I am confused on why there is not a discussion question put on here by Mr. Bilbrey and yet he tells us to do one. If someone would let me know what happened to it that would be nice. hahahah ! (:
which one are you looking for. the one about our favorate event or the one about revising the site?
i liked the aztec human sacrifices, the aztec seemed very strange to think killing people would make there gods happy.
My favorite thing would have to be, all the things that were going on around China. There just so much going on, it was all so interesting to learn about. I really liked the Tang and Song Dynasties.
It was really interesting.
I agree! I like seeing how much China has developed.
The new emergence of cultures, religions, and Ideas that swept across the world during this time was probably my favorite part of the post-classical period.
It's really interesting to see how all three of these tie into each other as they develop during the post-classical period.
Ya, i like that part too, and also, its interesting to see how the different cultures of different civilizations compare to each other.
My favorite part of the Post-Classical period would probably be the expansion in the arts and literature of Japan.
I think that is also really cool too!
I know, right. That was my favorite too!
I can't say what my faveorite thing was, lest you steal my idea.

My favorite thing about the Post-Classical period is to see all the art, literature and the achievements in science and technological advances.
The spread and development of religions, particularly Christianity and Islam, is my favorite thing about the postclassical period. It is amazing to see how the dominance of religion leads to other changes in culture in a specific civilization.
Oh, Good point! :)
My favorite thing about it is seeing how things first worked out in different civiliazations and how they were similar to each other, and also the art and architeture was very beautiful.

My favorite thing about the Post-Classical Period would be the expansion of China-not just the land but also their expansions in ideas and the arts.
